Panelift Get the beta
This policy is a draft and is under review.

Privacy

Draft of 4 November 2026.

Who we are

Panelift is made by Antler Digital.

The short version

Your screen, your input and your clipboard go directly between your own devices and don't reach our servers. To introduce your devices to each other, a connection service handles a limited amount of data, listed below.

What the connection service processes

  • Device public keys and device names
  • Which devices trust each other
  • IP addresses and connection timing
  • Signed connection details, including local and public network addresses
  • For 6-digit code pairing: the code and the sealed invitation, which we could technically read. QR pairing doesn't give us the invitation
  • Rate-limiting counters

What never reaches the connection service

  • Your screen or any video
  • Your clicks, taps or typing
  • Your clipboard

On your devices

  • Paired-device identities in the Keychain
  • Preferences, saved views and a window thumbnail cache
  • A connection log of device names and network addresses, containing no keys or passwords. It stays on your device unless you choose to share it

If you use the beta, TestFlight crash reports and feedback are handled by Apple.

Permissions

  • Screen Recording and Accessibility (Mac): to show windows and deliver input
  • Camera (iPhone and iPad): only for scanning the pairing QR code
  • Local network: to connect directly to your Mac and nearby displays on the same network
  • The microphone isn't used

Who processes data for us

Cloudflare runs the connection service and provides STUN. It terminates TLS and can see what the service sees.

How long we keep it

Device records (public keys, names and which devices trust each other) don't currently expire. Revoking a device removes the trust but doesn't erase the record.

Still being finished

Before Panelift leaves beta, this policy will add our full company details and privacy contact, retention periods, the legal basis for each use of data, your rights and how to use them, and any payment or analytics providers.
